Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services
Fromberg, Montana
These Terms and Conditions apply to daycare, overnight boarding, individual and senior dog care, transportation, pickup, drop off, and related services provided by Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services.
By booking or using our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
Reservations
All services are subject to availability and require confirmation by Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services.
Submitting a New Client Form, sending an inquiry, or requesting dates does not automatically confirm a reservation. A reservation is confirmed only after Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services has reviewed the required information and accepted the booking.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about their dog, including health, behavior, temperament, care requirements, medications, allergies, and any other information that may affect safe care.
Cancellation Policy
Because space is reserved specifically for each dog, the following cancellation fees apply based on the total price of the scheduled service:
72 hours or more before the scheduled start time:
No cancellation fee.
Less than 72 hours but at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time:
25% of the total booked service price.
Less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time:
50% of the total booked service price.
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, same day cancellation, or no show:
100% of the total booked service price.
Cancellation deadlines are calculated from the scheduled start time of the service.
Pickup and Drop Off Times
Clients are responsible for being available at all agreed pickup and drop off times.
If a client is at least one hour late for an agreed pickup or drop off time, an additional fee of $10 per hour will be charged.
Clients should notify Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services as soon as possible if they expect to be delayed.
Missed Pickup Appointments
If a client is not present for an agreed pickup at the Laurel pickup point or for a scheduled home pickup, a $100 missed pickup fee will be charged.
Applicable mileage charges will be added to this fee.
A missed pickup does not guarantee that another pickup can be arranged the same day. Any replacement transportation is subject to availability.
Vaccination Requirements
Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services requires current vaccination documentation for:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Parvovirus
- Bordetella
These vaccination requirements are a condition of boarding and care at Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services.
Current vaccination records must be provided before the scheduled stay begins.
If the required vaccination documentation has not been provided before the stay, the dog will not be accepted for boarding and 100% of the total booked service price will remain due.
Montana health authorities recommend that dogs have current rabies vaccination and documentation.
Health Information
Clients must disclose all known illnesses, injuries, allergies, medical conditions, medications, supplements, dietary restrictions, and other health information relevant to the dog's care.
Any change in the dog's health before a scheduled stay must be communicated to Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services before arrival or pickup.
Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services may refuse to accept a dog or may terminate an ongoing stay if the dog shows signs of illness or if continued care creates a reasonable health or safety concern.
Behavior Disclosure
Clients must provide complete and accurate information about their dog's temperament and behavior.
This includes relevant information concerning:
- aggression toward people or other animals
- bite history
- reactivity
- resource guarding
- separation related behavior
- escape behavior
- fear or anxiety
- difficulty with handling
- known triggers
- previous incidents during boarding, daycare, veterinary care, grooming, or similar situations
This information is used to determine whether the dog can be safely accommodated and which care arrangement is appropriate.
False, Incomplete, or Withheld Information
If a client provides false or materially inaccurate information, or fails to disclose relevant information concerning a dog's behavior, aggression, illness, medical condition, or other matter affecting safe care, Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services may terminate the stay immediately.
If a stay is terminated for this reason:
100% of the total booked service price remains due.
The client must also arrange prompt pickup of the dog or cooperate with Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services in arranging an appropriate alternative.
Early Termination of a Stay
Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services reserves the right to discontinue a stay or service when reasonably necessary because of safety concerns, illness, undisclosed behavioral issues, aggression, inability to safely handle the dog, or other circumstances that make continued care inappropriate.
When termination results from inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld information provided by the client, no refund will be issued and the full booked service price remains payable.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information
- provide current contact information
- provide a reliable emergency contact
- provide required vaccination documentation before the stay
- disclose relevant medical and behavioral information
- be available at agreed pickup and drop off times
- promptly communicate changes that may affect the dog's care
- pay all applicable service charges and additional fees
Payment
The client is responsible for all applicable charges associated with the reservation, including the booked service price, cancellation fees, late pickup or drop off fees, missed pickup fees, mileage charges, and other agreed charges.
Payment is due according to the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.
Changes to Reservations
Requests to change dates, times, services, transportation arrangements, or other booking details are subject to availability.
A requested change is not confirmed until Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services has accepted it.
Changes that cancel or materially reduce previously reserved services may be subject to the Cancellation Policy.
Safety and Right to Refuse Service
Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when reasonably necessary to protect the health, safety, or welfare of dogs, staff, clients, or others.
Acceptance of a previous reservation does not guarantee acceptance of a future reservation.
Agreement to These Terms
By confirming a reservation or using services provided by Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Paws 'N' Stripes K9 Services may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a reservation are those in effect when the reservation is confirmed.
