INDIVIDUAL & SENIOR DOG CARE IN FROMBERG

Personalized Care for Senior and Sensitive Dogs

Some dogs need a slower pace, more personal attention, or care outside a group setting. We create calm, structured routines around age, health, personality, mobility, meals, and comfort.

CARE THAT STARTS WITH THE DOG

A Routine Built Around Individual Needs

Age alone does not define the right care plan. We look at how your dog moves, rests, eats, reacts to other dogs, and handles changes in routine.

That information helps us create a stay that feels calm, familiar, and manageable. Senior dogs, shy dogs, small dogs, and dogs with special routines can receive additional personal attention without being pushed into an unsuitable group setting.

  • Senior dogs age nine and older
  • Shy, small, sensitive, or low-energy dogs
  • Dogs who prefer solo care instead of group play
  • Dogs needing medication, supplements, or special food
  • Females in heat who require individual care

SENIOR DOG BOARDING

A Gentler Stay for Older Dogs

For Paws 'N' Stripes, senior care begins at age nine. The goal is not to slow every dog down. It is to notice what your dog needs and shape the day around that reality.

Special food, supplements, medication instructions, and daily observation are built into the plan.

INDIVIDUAL DOG CARE

Not Every Dog Wants Group Play

Some dogs are happiest with a person, a quiet space, and a routine that does not ask them to socialize. Individual care is available for dogs who are shy, very small, sensitive, older, recovering their confidence, or simply not suited to group play.

Females in heat are also welcome, but they remain outside group play and require an additional cleaning fee.

  • Solo playtime and one-on-one attention
  • Calm outdoor time or an additional 1.5-mile walk
  • Cuddles, quiet enrichment, and supervised rest
  • Small group placement only when it is a good fit
  • Photo updates available on request

COMMON QUESTIONS

Individual & Senior Dog Care FAQ

Contact us before booking whenever your dog has a medical condition, mobility concern, or routine that needs special planning.

At what age do you consider a dog senior?

Our senior care options are available for dogs age nine and older. Care is still based on the individual dog, not age alone.

Can a senior dog stay overnight?

Yes. Overnight senior dog boarding can include additional rest, softer bedding, special food, medication support, and a quieter routine.

Can you give medication during boarding?

Yes, when medication or supplements are clearly labeled and complete instructions are provided before the stay.

Does my dog have to join group play?

No. Solo playtime and one-on-one staff attention are available for dogs who do not enjoy or are not suited to group play.
